Junior HR Generalist

We are seeking a proactive and self-motivated Junior HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain broad experience across various HR functions including recruitment and onboarding, HR administration and employee relations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in posting job advertisements and coordinating interviews.
  • Conduct screenings to identify suitable candidates.
  • Support the onboarding process.
  • Maintain and update candidate and employee records.
  • Prepare HR documents such as employment contracts, letters, and reports.
  • Act as a point of contact for basic employee inquiries and escalate issues as needed.
  • Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and events.
  • Help ensure compliance with internal policies.
  • Support reporting processes as required.
  • Maintain training records and support/coordinate any training initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Psychology or related field. Postgraduate education in Human Resources or Organizational / Business Psychology, will be considered an asset.
  • 1–2 years of experience in an HR role.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
