Senior Occupational Safety Manager

We are seeking a high-qualified and experienced Senior Occupational Safety Manager to lead the Safety Department for a high-profile account. This pivotal role demands proven expertise in the field of occupational safety and health alongside corporate safety management experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing and overseeing all aspects of occupational safety programs, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations, aiming at the continuous improvement of safety performance, while supporting the safety management team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance to all applicable local regulations and drive adherence to international standards.
• Provide expert advice and technical leadership to internal safety team.
• Drive initiatives for continuous improvement of safety strategy, aligned with organization’s business objectives and industry best practices.
• Design, implement, and manage all safety programs within organization.
• Oversee all aspects of the safety department, including risk assessments, incident investigations, emergency preparedness, and safety trainings.
• Establish and monitor key safety performance indicators and report on safety outcomes to senior management.

Required Qualifications:

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate safety management, with a demonstrable history of successfully developing, implementing, and managing effective safety initiatives.
• In-depth knowledge of local occupational safety laws and regulations
• Master’s degree in Engineering. Relevant professional certifications / Diplomas in Occupational Health & Safety will be considered an asset.
