Stroke
Symptoms:
- Sudden numbness or weakness of face, arm, or leg, especially on one side of the body
- Confusion
- Trouble speaking or understanding speech
- Trouble seeing in one or both eyes
- Trouble walking
- Dizziness
- Loss of balance or coordination
- Severe headache with no known cause

Fist aid:
- Call for help 112/166
- Help the person get into the best possible position and support them if they are at risk from falling
- Do not give anything to eat or drink, as swallowing may be impaired
- Monitor the person’s breathing and reassure them. Keep talking to the person
- If the person becomes unconscious but is breathing normally > recovery position
- If the person is unresponsive and not breathing normally > CPR
